Nov 18, 2019 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic is indeed to take delivery of two more Airbus A220-300 aircraft before the end of this year, confirms the communication department.
Airbus will, however, have to speed up production as neither of the two deliveries are yet on the final assembly line, and the ensuing test flight program will in most cases require two to three weeks.
The coming two aircraft will be the first of the follow-up order for another batch of 30+30 aircraft placed in May 2018.
