Oct 28, 2019 (newstodate): Finland's Helsinki Airport can breathe a sigh of relief when it comes to the future with the Chinese LCC Juneyao Air.
Formerly filing only four weekly rotations between Shanghai Pudong Airport to Helsinki in the summer 2020 schedule, the carrier has now entered seven weekly rotations on the route from March 20, 2020, as in the summer 2019 schedule.
During this winter schedule starting on October 27, 2019, the carrier has reined in operations to only three weekly rotations between Shanghai and Helsinki.
As its first long-haul route, Juneyao Air launched flights from June 28, 2019, between Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Helsinki Airport with Boeing 787-9 aircraft offering up to 20 tonnes cargo capacity on fully-booked passenger flights.
Juneyao Air has selected Aviator Finland as its handling partner at Helsinki Airport
