Jan 03, 2019 (newstodate): Taking effect from January 1, 2019, the Turkish LCC Pegasus has outsourced its cargo capacity marketing.
Pegasus Cargo has picked the Dusseldorf-based cargo GSSA World Cargo Solutions to take on marketing of its cargo capacity across the network spanning 64 international and 33 internal routes within Turkey, thus comprising total of 97 destinations in 38 countries.
Pegasus Cargo has been offering air cargo services starting in 2005 and has seen its volumes growing sharply ever since.
As part of the outsourcing solution, Pegasus Cargo's earlier general manager Aydin Alpa has transferred to WCS to head the company's Pegasus Cargo-related business.
In the three Scandinavian markets, Pegasus Cargo is represented by North Air Logistics.
In the fleet of Pegasus Airlines are 82 Airbus A320 Family and 48 Boeing 737-800 aircraft, plus orders placed for a further 79 new aircraft
