Jan 02, 2019 (newstodate): Russia experienced a sustained drop in cargo volumes carried by the country's airlines in November 2018. The Russian carriers thus lifted a total of 108,800 tonnes which was an over-all decline by 5.2 percent, y-o-y. On international routes, the drop was 5.9 percent to 82,100 tonnes, while cargo on domestic routes was also down three percent, y-o-y, to 26,700 tonnes. Growth was seen only on cargo volumes between Russia and the CIS countries, increasing by 17.1 percent to 2,800 tonnes.
