Jan 25, 2019 (newstodate): Russia's largest charter airline Azur Air has taken delivery of its second Boeing 737-900 aircraft.
The aircraft was earlier operated by Azur Air Germany, that folded its wings in September 2018.
Azur Air's fleet has thus grown to 25 aircraft including five Boeing 737-800, two Boeing 737-900, eight Boeing 757-200, nine Boeing 767-300, and one Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
In February and March 2018, the carrier was close to losing its AOC due to the findings of several alleged safety violations, but it was eventually cleared to lift off again on March 20, 2018.
