Jan 16, 2019 (newstodate): Long rumored, the Polish carrier LOT has now officially announced its return of flights to the Indian market.
Starting from September 17, 2019, the carrier will be offering five weekly rotations on the route between Warsaw and Delhi with Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
LOT earlier operated flights on the route from October 1985 to October 1992, while the route from Warsaw to Mumbai was served until February 1982.
The resumption of services to India benefit from the sustained increase in LOT's long-haul aircraft fleet now comprising eight Boeing 787-8 and three Boeing 787-9 aircraft, with four more Boeing 787-9 aircraft on orders.
