Jan 30, 2019 (newstodate): For the third consecutive year, DB Schenker is calling participants to its Seafood Air Logistics Seminar in Oslo, this time on March 27, 2019. An array of high-level industry speakers will present views and experiences from the world of seafood air logistics to the audience comprising specialists from airlines, GSSAs, handling companies, authorities and other affiliated businesses. As one unique novelty, DB Schenker will present the results from an survey launching today among the country's seafood exporters on the perceived quality of services by 21 short-listed air carriers operating out of Norway and Europe. The respondents will rate the airlines based on nine parameters including terminal handling, flown as booked, how delays are handled, predictable schedules, flexibility, network, value for money, and claims handling. With this survey, airlines will obtain valuable response from their customers, and a winner of the rating will be announced at the Seafood Air Logistics Seminar. If this is not sufficient to arouse interest in the event, the heated controversy over Avinor's planned new Seafood Terminal at Oslo is sure to add further to a lively debate.
