Jan 04, 2019 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic has expanded its cooperation with Menzies for ground handling.
airBaltic is already handled by Menzies at Gothenburg, Oslo and Nice, and is now also cooperating with Menzies at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
The carrier operates five daily flights at Stockholm Arlanda Airport, and the new contract marks the start of cooperation between the two parties at the airport.
Also at Stockholm Arlanda Airport, Menzies has been contracted to provide ground handling for China Eastern that has been offering four weekly rotations from Shanghai since June 16, 2018, and for S7 Sibir Airlines that opened a new route to Stockholm from St Petersburg from June 3, 2018, with two weekly rotations.
In the Danish market, Menzies has now won the contract for ground services at Copenhagen airport for Finnair's five daily flights from Helsinki, as well as for S7 Sibir Airlines' two weekly flights between Copenhagen and St Petersburg, launched on June 2, 2018.
