Jan 31, 2019 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic is strengthening its focus on the Ukrainian market.
The carrier is currently seeking applicants for a new position in the Ukrainian sales organization to assist the Country Manager.
-Ukraine is actually the market where we will be adding most additional capacity this summer, says Toms Andersons, airBaltic VP Sales since January 2017 and with the company now for almost 12 years.
-Frequency on the route between Riga and Kiev will be increased from 19 to 24 weekly flights, with some upgrades from Bombardier Q400 to Boeing 737 aircraft on specific days and flights.
-Suspended since H1, 2014, services on the route between Riga and Odessa will return with a potential increase from four to seven weekly rotations, and we have already announced flights from April 1, 2019, on the new route between Riga and Lviv with four weekly rotations, says Mr Andersons.
