Jan 10, 2019 (newstodate): The Hungarian carrier Budapest Aircraft Service, BASe Airlines, has now been called in to operate a Finnish domestic route to Helsinki.
BASe will from today launch services with an Embraer 120 aircraft on the route from Savonlinna to Helsinki, substituting for the Latvian carrier RAF-Avia that suffered a runway excursion incident when ferrying its SAAB 340B aircraft to the airport prior to opening flights after the Christmas break.
BASe is, however, no new-comer as it earlier operated the flights to Helsinki from Savonlinna from 2015.
