Jan 24, 2019 (newstodate): Helsinki Airport in Finland will greet a new airline customer from summer 2019: Air Serbia.
Helsinki is one of nine new routes to be launched by the Serbian carrier in summer 2019, with the first direct year-round flight in June 2019.
More information on frequency, aircraft type and start-up date for the route by Air Serbia from Belgrade to Helsinki is yet to be published.
Air Serbia, 49 percent owned by Etihad and a member of the airline alliance Etihad Airways Partners, operates a fleet comprising 20 aircraft including 10 Airbus A320 Family aircraft, and three Boeing 737-300 aircraft as well as one Airbus A330 and six ATR 72 aircraft.
In the Nordic region, Air Serbia is already operating flights from Belgrade to Copenhagen and Stockholm, at both airports handled by Aviator.
