Jan 02, 2019 (newstodate): Finnair has appointed an interim successor to Juha Jarvinen in the position as head of Finnair's commercial unit. Stepping into the seat from January 1, 2019, is Mika Stirkkinen who will also be a member of Finnair’s Executive Board during this interim period while the search for a permanent CCO is now in full swing. Mr Jarvinen, who is now EVP Commercial - Virgin Atlantic, served as Finnair CCO from October 2014, stepping up from his previous position as Finnair Cargo Managing director from May 2012.
