Jan 02, 2019 (newstodate): The Danish logistics giant DSV is soon to break ground on a 10,000 m2 expansion to the global HQ in Hedehusene, Denmark. The new complex will become operative from 2024 after start of construction works in January 2019, following on the completion of a new underground 20,000 m2 parking facility constructed during 2018. This will mark the beginning of a 5-year expansion plan, which will ultimately result in a +250,000 m2 DSV logistics complex in the Roskilde-Hedehusene-Taastrup area – and close to 2,000 DSV employees working in the greater Copenhagen area. The coming new complex will be DSV’s largest logistics complex anywhere in the world. DSV is now operating in more than 80 countries around the world, with a staff of some 45,000 employees.
