Jan 11, 2019 (newstodate): The Danish charter and ACMI carrier Danish Air Transport, DAT, is to move the larger part of its aircraft fleet unto Lithuanian AOC later this year.
DAT is today operating part of its aircraft fleet on Danish AOC, with another part of the fleet operating on the Lithuanian AOC of its subsidiary DOT LT, based in Kaunas.
As part of the changes, the Lithuanian subsidiary DOT will be renamed DAT Lithuania.
The move will allow the carrier to operate with more flexibility in crew and aircraft deployment while entailing no changes for staff employment.
In the fleet of DAT are today 15 aircraft, including one Airbus A321, three A320, two of which will leave in 2019, two MD aircraft as well as 15 ATR 42 and 72 aircraft.
