Jan 09, 2019 (newstodate): The Danish aircraft maintenance company Aeroservice is seeing new business windows opening in 2019.
In 2018, Aeroservice opened Malaga as a new line maintenance station to serve SAS Ireland with maintenance services.
-It is no secret that the start-up phase has been rather challenging due to bureaucracy and local resistance, but with the demise of Monarch Aircraft Engineering that market is now opening up, and we may consider exploiting the opportunities to strengthen our foot-hold at Malaga and taking in new selected customers, says Andrew Djurhuus, Aeroservice CEO and Accountable Manager.
-2019 may also see further expansion on our part, with opening of new line maintenance stations in Scandinavia and maybe in the UK, depending on the situation around the Brexit process.
-At Copenhagen Airport, Aeroservice has added a new service from the end of 2018 in the form of a hangar dedicated to aircraft parking. The ex-Cimber Air Hangar 142 leased by us on cooperation with ASE Handling will allow for parking of aircraft the size of ATR and CRJ and other corporate aircraft types.
-In short: Aeroservice is well-consolidated and ready for launch of new business projects in 2019, says Mr Djurhuus.
