Jan 02, 2018 (newstodate): Copenhagen Airport is to promote its planned CPH Cargo Community at an event scheduled for February 6, 2019. The CPH Cargo Community is a vital part of the airport's strategy for developing the airport as a North European hub for air cargo and logistics targeting special segments, including the pharmaceutical industries. The event is thus hosted by the airport in collaboration with IATA, who will present the CEIV Pharma program. Copenhagen Airports have started developing the Airport Business Park located in the Eastern area of the airport, including plans for a new air cargo terminal to be operated by a cargo handling partner yet to be announced. The event on February 6, 2019, will be split into two sessions with one dedicated to forwarders, airlines and GSAs and another targeting shippers, handling companies and authorities.
