Jan 16, 2019 (newstodate): The Faroese carrier Atlantic Airways is increasing the connectivity of Vagar Airport with a new code-share agreement.
With effect from January 24, 2019, Atlantic Airways and KLM will implement a code-share agreement covering joint flight designation on routes between Vagar and Copenhagen, Billund, Bergen, and Edinburgh.
Air passengers on both sides will thus get seamless access to flights on one ticket and a one-stop check-in between the Faroe Islands and the global network of KLM.
With a small home market and a limited route network, Atlantic Airways is keen to develop cooperation with other carriers to enhance connectivity.
Atlantic Airways is thus already benefiting from inter-line agreements with carriers including Air Iceland, SAS, Finnair, Wideroe and British Airways.
