Sep 03, 2018 (newstodate): Following a tender process, Lithuania's Vilnius Airport has contracted Airport Coordination Ltd, UK for schedules facilitation.
The services will commence by the start of next summer's schedule by the end of March 2019.
Vilnius Airport is moving towards becoming an IATA Level 2 airport, handling 3.8 million passengers in 2017, 3.3 million of them traveling on scheduled routes.
During this year's H1, Vilnius Airport has seen a 17 percent y-o-y traffic increase and is on course to carry 4.7 million passengers by year end, equivalent to a 24 percent growth compared to 2017.
-Airport Coordination will help us with our primary aim, which is to manage flight peaks and maximize the infrastructure of the airport, enabling us to deliver the best service for our passengers. ACL will help us to negotiate with airlines on take-off and landing slots to achieve the best result, says Dainius Ciuplys, Vilnius Airport Managing Director.
