Sep 14, 2018 (newstodate): The Estonian carrier Nordica has suspended flights on one of its two routes to Kiev.
Nordica has been serving Kiev already since 2016 by opening up on the route between Tallinn and Kiev Boryspil Airport.
The next move was adding new flights from Tallinn to Kiev Zhulyany airport starting from April 26, 2018, with three weekly rotations.
Code-sharing with LOT, Nordica has thus been offering 10 weekly flights between Tallinn and Kiev - but has now decided to suspend services on the route to Zhulyany during the winter schedule.
Nordica, however, plans to return to Kiev Zhulyany Airport from the summer 2019 schedule.
Competition on flights between Tallinn and Kiev has however been increasing as the Hungarian LCC Wizz Air is now also online on the route with the first flight on June 21, 2018, offering three weekly rotations with Airbus A320 aircraft.
