Sep 13, 2018 (newstodate): Sweden's capital airport, Stockholm Arlanda Airport is reporting strong growth in cargo volumes in this year's H1.
During the period January-June 2018 a total of 95,913 tonnes of cargo was handled at the airport which is an increase by 8.1 percent, y-o-y.
-Increasing cargo capacity at Stockholm Arlanda on both freighters and in passenger aircraft bellies has been immediately snatched by the cargo community, says Ylva Arvidsson, Swedavia Director Cargo.
-The H1 2018 statistics reflect that neither Singapore Airlines nor Air India operated at the airport in H1 2017, while China Eastern has been online on the route between Shanghai and Stockholm from June 16, 2018, with four weekly rotations using Airbus A330-200 in a program so far running till October 24, 2018.
