Sep 10, 2018 (newstodate): Later this year, Russia's St Petersburg Pulkovo Airport will welcome its first-ever Airbus A380 operations.
The Gulf carrier Emirates plans to temporarily introduce the Airbus A380 on its route between Dubai and St Petersburg during this year's autumn school holidays from October 25 till October 29, 2018, replacing the Boeing 777 aircraft usually operated on the route.
This will mark the first Airbus A380 operation at the airport.
On November 1, 2011, Emirates started daily flights with a mix of Airbus A340-300 and A330-200 aircraft between Dubai and its second destination in Russia - St Petersburg, following on flights to Moscow Domodedovo since 2003.
