Sep 20, 2018 (newstodate): Romanian low-cost flights are now entering the Polish market.
The Romanian airline Blue Air has announced plans for opening flights on a new route connecting Turin, in Italy, with Krakow starting from December 16, 2018.
For a start, Blue Air will be offering three weekly rotations on the route to be served with Boeing 737-500 aircraft.
Based at Bucharest Aurel Vlaicu International Airport, Blue Air was set up in 2004 and now operates a fleet comprising 30 aircraft with orders placed for 15 Boeing 737-800 MAX8 aircraft.
The carrier has grown to a position as Romania's 2nd largest airline, measured in passenger volumes, after Wizz Air and ahead of Tarom.
