Sep 07, 2018 (newstodate): The European forwarding and logistics company Maurice Ward is settled with an own office in Lithuania, now recruiting..
The office was set up in Vilnius in January 2018, managed by Martynus Taucius.
-We are in full operation covering all modes of transportation, but primarily air and sea freight, says Mr Taucius.
-After this early start, we are now in the market for hiring another two people to bolster Maurice Ward's activities in Lithuania, seeing potentials for further growth based on our strength from a strong network in over 30 markets, notably in central and eastern Europe.
-From the start, the volumes have been driven primarily by imports generated by the Maurice Ward network, but much effort is now invested in growing on the export side as well. This is a very competitive market - but that is the condition faced in any country.
-We expect to complete the current drive for new staff before the end of this year, positioning us for an enhanced position in the market from the start of the coming year, says Mr Taucius, in the logistics and forwarding business since 1999.
Maurice Ward's company in Lithuania marks the Group's so far only presence with own office in the three Baltic countries.
