Sep 10, 2018 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic is again raising frequency on its route to Billund Airport, in Western Denmark.
From March 2019 the carrier will be offering 10 weekly rotations in the route between Riga and Billund, further increasing to 11 weekly rotations from April 29.
The carrier introduced flights to Billund from May 1, 2008, with two weekly rotations operated with Fokker 50 aircraft, later going up to three weekly flights with Fokker 50 aircraft, and four weekly flights using Boeing 737-500 from summer 2010.
Effective from June 1, 2012, the carrier introduced daily Dash-8 Q400 rotations on the route between Riga and Billund Airport, up from five weekly flights in the summer 2011 program.
