Sep 24, 2018 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic has now 12 Airbus A220-300 in the fleet after the latest delivery.
The 12th aircraft landed at Riga Airport during this weekend, on September 22, 2018, after having completed its test flight program that started with the first flight on September 6.
The next delivery is still pending, with the 13th aircraft having initiated the test flight program on September 18 - but this test flight program has reportedly identified several snags that may delay the delivery process.
Anyway, airBaltic is thus close to meeting the target of having 14 Airbus A220-300 aircraft in the fleet before end of this year year, with the last aircraft also now on the final assembly line.
