Sep 07, 208 (newstodate): Air Greenland is seeking applicants for a new position as the airline's Charter and Cargo Manager.
Foreseeing a scenario with new airports in Greenland and an expected growth in passenger and flight volumes, the airline seeks to bolster itself in preparation for new challenges and new competition.
Expansion in the charter and air cargo segments will be part of this scenario requiring the new position that will take over-all responsibility for these segments referring to the CCO, with a Cargo Sales Manager and a Head of Charter Sales in charge of the daily performance.
Air Greenland operates a fleet comprising nine fixed-wing aircraft including one Airbus A330-200 for transatlantic services, seven Bombardier Dash-8 and one Beechcraft King Air.
The carrier also operates a fleet of 19 rotary-wing aircraft for SAR and domestic flights on shorter routes including two S-61, eight Bell 212, and nine Eurocopter 350.
