Aug 30, 2018 (newstodate): WFS is working towards CEIV certification of its temperature-controlled facility in Copenhagen Airport - but it remains a lengthy process.
In December 2017, WFS optimistically issued a release on the opening of a new temperature-controlled facility at Copenhagen Airport, claiming that it expected to complete WFS' IATA CEIV Pharma certification program in Denmark "already in early 2018".
Which was clearly not achieved.
And according to IATA's CEIV project manager in a mail response to newstodate earlier this month, "there is no activity in Copenhagen."
This is, however, not the full story either.
-It remains our intention to gain CEIV certification in Copenhagen and we are working on the internal processes for certification.
-Once we are ready, we will request IATA to carry out the required assessment, says Valerie Marchand Battard, WFS Global, Head of Corporate Communication.
