Aug 16, 2018 (newstodate): Lithuania's Vilnius Airport is reporting a sustained and strong growth in cargo volumes, with positive growth all through January-July 2018.
During these seven months, cargo volumes are thus up 26,25 percent, y-o-y, to 6,997 tonnes including 5,672 tonnes of cargo and 1,325 tonnes of mail.
July 2018 beat all records with a growth by 187.8 percent, y-o-y, which is, however, due to closure of the runway for resurfacing during July 14-August 18, 2017, when all traffic was directed to Kaunas Airport instead.
Expect for June 2018, all months in 2018 have so far produced double-digit growth rates.
