Aug 03, 2018 (newstodate): Cargo volumes on Russian carriers increased modestly by 2.4 percent, y-o-y, during the first half of 2018.
A total of 530.948 tonnes of cargo was carried, of which the country's top-5 carriers accounted for over 80 percent.
Measured in volumes, the five largest contributors were AirBridgeCargo with 281,139 tonnes, up three percent, y-o-y, Aeroflot with 101,550 tonnes but down 2.5 percent, Pobeda where statistics are, however, not available, S7 Sibir with 15,515 tonnes and down 5.2 percent, and Rossiya with 13,960 tonnes, also down 3.2 percent.
Formerly among the Top-5 carriers, Volga-Dnepr is now #6 with 12,678 tonnes and down 25.6 percent, y-o-y.
