Aug 16, 2018 (newstodate): Facing an acute need for more pilots to man its growing aircraft fleet, Primera Air is signed an agreement with the Danish Air Pilot Center Air Pilot Academy, CAPA, in Roskilde.
Working with CAPA, Primera Air will foot the bill for ab-initio training of an initial batch of six candidates who will be transferred to Primera's fleet after successful graduation and completion of their solo flights.
In Primera Air's fleet are now 12 aircraft including eight Boeing 737-800, two Boeing 737-700, and two Airbus A321neo aircraft.
But the carrier will take delivery of no less than 16 new aircraft in the near future, including 10 Boeing 737 MAX 9, two Airbus A321LR and four Airbus A321neo aircraft.
