Aug 01, 2018 (newstodate): Stockholm Arlanda Airport is to lose one airline customer from the start of the coming winter schedule.
The Luxair Group has announced a restructuring of its route network, adding new destinations and canceling other routes.
Among the routes to go are the flights between Luxembourg and Stockholm, leaving the route to Copenhagen, Denmark, as the only Scandinavian, or Nordic, connection.
After a 10-years lapse, Luxair returned services from Luxembourg to Stockholm from March 30, 2014, with four weekly rotations on the route using Embraer ERJ145 aircraft.
Off-line at Copenhagen also from 2007, Luxair returned to Copenhagen from June 3, 2013, and is currently serving Copenhagen with three daily rotations.
