Aug 14, 2018 (newstodate): Latest new customer for the Lithuanian MRO provider FL Technics is the South African carrier Comair.
Based in Jo'burg, Comair offers scheduled and non-scheduled airline services within South Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands with a fleet of 16 Boeing 737 aircraft of various types and deliveries planned from 2019 of eight Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
Under the new contract, FL Technics will provide Comair with extended Base maintenance services at the company's facilities at Kaunas Airport, so the contract will not require any new setup on the part of FL Techics.
Comair operates under its low-fare airline brand, kulula.com, as well as under the British Airways livery, as part of a license agreement.
