Aug 03, 2018 (newstodate): The largest airline company in the Czech Republic, Travel Services has picked B&H Worldwide to manage its entire global logistics engineering supply chain.
Under the three-year contract, B&H will expand its relationship with Travel Service to exclusively manage all AOG traffic, time-critical spares and routine shipments.
This covers Travel Service's major operating centers in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary and a further 400 airports on four continents where the company operates.
The contract will be managed through the B&H London Heathrow Control Tower providing 24/7, 365 service to the customer globally.
Headquartered in Prague, the Czech Republic, Travel Service operates in the charter flight market in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary and also has a significant share in Poland.
In addition to charter flights, Travel Service operates scheduled flights under the SmartWings brand, and air taxi flights with three Cessna Citation aircraft.
In 2017, Travel Service became the majority owner of the Czech carrier CSA with 98 percent of the stake in the national airline after taking over the shares earlier held by Korean Air and the Czech state.
Travel Service now operates fleet comprising 47 aircraft, with orders placed for a further 34 Boeing 737 MAX 8.
