Aug 06, 2018 (newstodate): The Icelandic company Loftleidir is seeing success in offering luxurious charter flight services.
The company has just landed a three-year contract starting from 2019 with Hapag-Lloyd Cruises with Boeing 757-200 aircraft re-configured to offer comfortable services to 50 passengers on high-quality charter flights.
Loftleidir is already in this business with a contract with National Geographic for similar services with two Boeing 757-200 aircraft.
Each trip is scheduled to last two to three weeks with 5-7 destinations.
The operations will require 13 crew members for each trip, including three pilots, seven flight attendants, and two chefs to master the cuisine.
