Aug 08, 2018 (newstodate): Estonia's Tallinn Airport regained growth in July 2018, primarily due to a rise in export volumes.
The airport handled a total of 924 tonnes of cargo, up 6.8 percent, y-o-y.
The total includes 319 tonnes of cargo exports, up 18.7 percent, y-o-y, and 116 tonnes of mail exports, also up 54 percent.
On the other hand, cargo imports were down 11.1 percent to 402 tonnes, while mail imports were up 27.1 percent to 88 tonnes.
During the first seven months of 2018 the airport has thus been handling a total of 6,622 tonnes of cargo and mail, up 7.6 percent, y-o-y.
