Aug 17, 2018 (newstodate): Competition on the route between Estonia's Tallinn Airport and Copenhagen Airport in Denmark will intensify from summer 2019.
The Latvian carrier airBaltic has announced the opening of flights between the two destinations from June 2, 2019, with four weekly rotations.
Serving the route since April 27, 2018, is already the Estonian carrier Nordica offering 12 weekly rotations with CRJ-700 aircraft as well as SAS that is offering three daily rotations since November 2015.
Also from June 2019, airBaltic will be adding a further two new routes from Tallinn, to Malaga from June 1 and to Brussels from June 3 with two and three weekly rotations, respectively.
Already from autumn 2018, airBaltic is further to add flights from Tallinn to Stockholm and Oslo, increasing its direct non-stop services from Estonia to 11 destinations including seasonal and year-round routes.
