Jul 04, 2018 (newstodate): Gambia is fighting to re-brand itself as an attractive tourism destination after years with political unrest, health issues and a dubious reputation for sex traffic.
The country is now slowly returning to the tourism industry, and one carrier to launch flights from Germany to Gambia is Small Planet Airlines Germany.
Starting from November 2018, the carrier will be offering weekly flights to Banjul from Frankfurt, Cologne, Leipzig and Munich for the German tour operator FTI.
In 2018, Germany is becoming the fastest-growing market for Small Planet Airlines with a fleet of 11 aircraft including three A321 and eight A320 aircraft on German registration based at eight German airports as well as in Amsterdam and Hurghada.
