Jul 06, 2018 (newstodate): Ryanair's new charter subsidiary in Poland, Ryanair Sun is in the air since April 2018.
Granted its Polish AOC on April 3, 2018, and currently operating only one Boeing 737-800 aircraft on Polish registration, the carrier is actually operating a total of five aircraft including aircraft from the mother company as needed.
Ambitions are to grow the fleet on the charter carrier's own AOC to 15 aircraft in 2019 and to 25 in 2020.
Ryanair Sun's main customers are tour operators TUI Poland and Grecos Holidays flying tourists from Krakow, Poznan and Wroclaw to leisure destinations in Greece, Spain, Croatia, Albania and Cyprus.
