Jul 04, 2018 (newstodate): Member of the Lufthansa group, the Belgian carrier Brussels Airlines added the fourth Superjet 100 aircraft to its fleet on June 29, 2018.
The aircraft is placed with Brussels Airlines on a wet-lease contract with the Irish carrier CityJet that has booked an order for a total of 15 Superjet 100 aircraft.
CityJet has now received seven Superjet 100 aircraft since the first delivery in 2015, and four of these are now operated by Brussels airlines.
In October 2015, CityJet announced its firm order for 15 Superjet 100, and an option for another 10, later increased to 16, in a deal formalized through an agreement with the finance company Falko that will buy the aircraft and then place them on a leasing agreement with CityJet.
