Jul 31, 2018 (newstodate): Denmark's Copenhagen Airport saw its total cargo volumes up by 4.5 percent, y-o-y, during the first five months of this year.
In total, the airport handled 146,519 tonnes of cargo including volumes on integrators that accrued to 32,198 tonnes, which was in itself a hike by 26 percent, y-o-y.
Excluding integrator cargo, Copenhagen Airport saw volumes in passenger aircraft belly holds up by eight percent to 49,439 tonnes, freighter operations generated 21,481 tonnes, down by 14 percent, while trucked cargo accounted for 32,905 tonnes, up by 20 percent, y-o-y.
Volumes of air mail, excluding integrators, were 10,406 tonnes, almost unchanged against last year.
