Jun 20, 2018 (newstodate): Turkish Cargo is already a strong player in the global air cargo business - and is bent on further growth.
This translates into a need for more freighter uplift capacity beyond the current freighter fleet comprising three Airbus A310-300F, nine Airbus A330-200F, one Airbus A300-600F, three Boeing 747-400F and two Boeing 777F aircraft.
Turkish Cargo is therefore determined to acquire more freighters on dry-lease contracts, aiming at adding up to six freighters with crews and load masters from Turkish Cargo's own ranks.
Turkish Cargo is selling cargo capacity in the belly holds of Turkish Airlines' passenger flights to 302 destinations in 121 countries as well as direct freighter flights to 85 destinations worldwide.
