Jun 26, 2018 (newstodate): The Swedish/British cargo carrier West Atlantic has taken delivery of one more Boeing 737-400 converted freighter aircraft.
The aircraft was delivered to the British part of the carrier on June 20, 2018, and will join the fleet serving under the contract with Royal Mail.
In the fleet of West Atlantic are now 19 Boeing 737-300/400 converted freighters on contracts with DHL, Royal Mail and other customers.
On April 19, 2018, West Atlantic also took delivery of its, and indeed the world's, first Boeing 737-800BCF freighter.
The aircraft is the first of four ordered by the carrier that will receive the remaining three aircraft in August and November 2018 and in January 2019, respectively.
West Atlantic also plans to add a fourth Boeing 767-200F freighter in 2018, according to its latest interim report.
