Jun 11, 2018 (newstodate): The new Ukrainian carrier SkyUp, now with its AOC since May 16, 2018, and its first two Boeing 737-800 aircraft on the tarmac, has added its first wide-body aircraft to the fleet.
The carrier has thus taken delivery of one Airbus A330-200 on a lease contract with the Egyptian airline Air Leisure aircraft and is already operating charter flights from Kharkov in Ukraine to leisure destinations including Sharm el-sheikh for tour operator JoinUp that shares owner with SkyUp.
The airline is fully owned by Ukrainian capital, with 50 percent of the stake held by the two owners behind the country's leading tour operator JoinUp, Tatiana and Yuri Alba.
