Jun 21, 2018 (newstodate): The Russian charter carrier iFly is rapidly expanding its aircraft fleet.
Set up in 2009 by the Russian tour operator TEZ Tour and boosted by the Chinese company Tempus Global Business Service, the airline first launched business with lease of four Boeing 757-200 aircraft from ILFC.
In 2011, the carrier took delivery of its first Airbus A330-300 aircraft, adding its first Airbus A330-200 in 2017, and its first Airbus A319 aircraft in 2018.
In the fleet are now one Airbus A319, one A330-300, five A330-200 and one Boeing 757-200 that will be returned to the lessor by the end of the lease period.
To respond to the market demand this summer, iFly will add an additional two Airbus A330 and one A319 aircraft to the fleet.
Based at Moscow Vnukovo Airport, iFly offers long-haul charter flights to a range of American and Asian destinations, charter flights to European leisure destinations as well as regular flights to Chinese destinations Xian, Tianjin and Shenzhen.
