Jun 06, 2018 (newstodate): Ambitions are high at the Nordic/Baltic carrier Primera Air - but skies do have a limit..
With short notice, the carrier has announced the suspension of all Transatlantic flights from Birmingham to New York and Toronto from June 21, 2018.
The airline will return the services again in 2019, citing the sustained delays in delivery of its Airbus A321neo aircraft as only two of six aircraft ordered have so far been handed over the Primera Air.
The airline has been operating three weekly flights on the route from Birmingham to New York since May 2018 and was to initiate three weekly rotation on a new route to Toronto later in June - but these operations are now to be stalled.
