Jun 22, 2018 (newstodate): The Estonian carrier Nordica is now facing competition on its route between Tallinn and Kiev, in Ukraine.
With the first flight on June 21, 2018, the Hungarian LCC Wizz Air is also online on the route, offering three weekly rotations with Airbus A320 aircraft.
Since September 2015, Nordica is operating seven weekly rotations on the route between Tallinn and Kiev Borispol Airport, adding three weekly flights to Kiev Zhulyany Airport from April 26, 2018, thus offering no less than 10 weekly flights between Tallinn and Kiev, all in a code-share with its partner LOT Polish Airlines.
Further down the line, Ukraine International Airlines has announced flights from Kiev to Tallinn to start from 2021 as part of a major European routes expansion.
