Jun 06, 2018 (newstodate): In the market only from October 1, 2017, the Danish aircraft broker Wingman Aircharter reports a successful start of business
-It takes time to build a new company in this market, but we have seen a positive response from the start, says Thomas Dessau, Wingman Aircharter owner and Managing Director.
-Alongside the handling of specific customer requests and the managing of passenger charter operations, much effort is invested in building our brand as a precondition for attracting customers and consolidating our image. In this we are relying heavily on various social media that serve as today's key channel of communication with the market. Not least LinkedIn has served us well in this respect.
-We originally expected our business to be mainly based on flight operations between points outside Scandinavia, but the main volume of transactions has actually so far been generated by flights ex-Denmark and Scandinavia.
-The aircraft brokering business is heavily reliant on efficient and strong networking, and this capitalizes on my experience from 10 years as Sales Manager at the Danish air broker and operator, Flexflight. This also comprises a critical approach to aircraft operators as the eventual solution is seldom focused on price issues.
-Even in a seasonally limited and stressed market for aircraft availability, the focus remains on quality, safety and reliability, says Mr Dessau.
