Jun 04, 2018 (newstodate): Africa's leading airline Ethiopian Airlines is to be back in Russia.
Starting from November 15, 2018, the carrier will be offering flights on the route from Addis Ababa to Istanbul and Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport, offering four weekly rotations with Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
Ethiopian Airlines last served Moscow with passenger flights until May 1991.
The carrier is however already present in the Russian market with a direct freighter service between Addis Ababa and Moscow Sheremetyevo since August 15, 2012, with two weekly rotations using a Boeing 757-20PCF freighter.
