Jun 21, 2018 (newstodate): Norwegian is poised to increase its presence further in Finland with the opening of new routes from Helsinki in the coming winter schedule 2018/19.
The carrier will thus launch flights to a new destination from November 3, 2018, from Helsinki to Agadir as well as increasing frequencies from end of October 2018 on a number of existing routes from Helsinki to Krakow, London Gatwick, Malaga and Marrakech.
In April 2010, Norwegian started operating flights to Helsinki from Stockholm and Oslo, bolstering its presence in the Finnish market by setting up an operational base at Helsinki Airport from spring 2011.
Today, Norwegian is the 2nd largest operator in terms of number of flights at Helsinki Airport.
