Jun 04, 2018 (newstodate): The Swedish/British carrier West Atlantic is again to add capacity to its fleet of Boeing 767 freighters.
Plans are to add another Boeing 767-200F freighter in 2018, bringing the fleet to four units.
West Atlantic put its first Boeing 767-200F freighter into commercial service with TNT in April 2015, the second freighter was added in October 2015, and the third aircraft was put on a long-term contract from December 29, 2015, with TNT at Liege for intra-European operations.
All Boeing 767 freighters are sourced on dry-lease contracts from West Atlantic's partner, the Ohio-based Air Transport Services Group, ATSG, that took a 25 percent stake in the Gothenburg-based West Atlantic Group in December 2013.
